Fall of Rome is a 12 player multiplayer online wargame, one of the better games that I have played, actually, over the last several months.

I've played in around 8 to 10 games of Fall of Rome, thus far, with my highest finish to date being a 3rd place finish as the Lombards. I was in 1st place, as the end game neared, but my enemies didn't apparently want me to win, so history now records me as coming in 3rd, in game # 104.

My most recent game of Fall of Rome, which I started last week, is game # 139.

This is a game which requires you to think. It is not another one of those awful rat killing extravaganzas, which I have grown to hate.

The game has a 30 day free trial, so you can try it, and if you don't like it, you can cancel your account, and it won't end up costing you anything. I, personally, like that approach, because I have gotten burned on so many computer games over the years that cost $40 to $50, and which ultimately ended up being pieces of crap.
