Here are some of the non-game related programs that are on my puter:
AntiVir - Virus protection AdAware - Spam protection Winamp - Music player Autocad - Building and engineering software Thunderbird - Email MSN - Chat Yahoo! - Chat mIRC - Chat Photoshop - Editing Norton PartitionMagic - Self explanitory Winrar - Extracting PowerISO - Extracting These are basically things that are a constant on my puter and the ones I can remember! I am sure there are others I am forgetting. What does your puter run?

a just for the hell of it post:
pidgin - for all the chat ones isobuster - good for figuring out (broken) isos especially non windows ones g-spot - videos not working, this tells you why yeah the rest already said...

Nod32 as my antivirus.
Thunderbird, msn, Skype and Firefox for all round web purposes. Vista manager for tweaking purposes and process control. Google earth and some more.
