Waterloo, Ontario, Canada -- 08 Jan 2008 -- D3DGear Technologies today announced the release of version 3.00 of D3DGear, its popular Windows ingame utility software. D3DGear 3.00 introduces a new feature: Ingame Desktop (i-Desktop).

What is D3DGear?

D3DGear is an advanced Windows ingame utility software for 3D games. With D3DGear, you can measure framerate (FPS) of 3D game, capture 3D game screenshot, record 3D game into a movie and analyze 3D game performance. You even can use D3DGear to access Windows desktop within a game.

To use D3DGear, simply launch D3DGear prior to start 3D game, the framerate of 3D game will be automatically measured and displayed on screen; capturing screenshot, recording movie, analyze performance and accessing Windows desktop will be as simple as pressing a hotkey.

System Requirements: Windows 2000/XP/Vista with DirectX 9.0 installed.

What is new in D3DGear 3.00?

The Ingame Desktop feature comes with two flavors, one is "Ingame Desktop Full Access", the other is "Ingame Desktop Viewer Only". The Ingame Desktop Full Access flavor gives your complete access to the desktop; and you can see game running in background. The Ingame Desktop Viewer Only flavor let you to monitor Windows desktop application while playing game.
