The activation keys are limited to 2.5 million users, but the links for those aren't up yet.

I planned to run it in Virtualbox after an exam this wednesday. Will have a few days off then so plenty time to play.
To be clear: I decided to install Virtualbox, because most probably Win 7 does not "respect" my Win XP and linux installs. I could use an image after the try-out to put it back in its previous state, but then I cannot do that much with my pc as long as I am playing with Win7.
So I will try both Virtualbox and Win7 at once.

I've got it downloaded (64-bit), installed and activated. I'm using the Vista 64-bit drivers for everything and all seems well. I'll see if it likes Crysis in a little bit
I've edited the link. You can download the Beta and get a Activation Key at this one :-)
Download the Windows 7 Beta

Well I can't get FarCry 2 or 3DMark Vantage to run. It could be the Vista Drivers, but without them I've got no SLI.

Yeah I just got win7 running on virtual box as well(took me a bit to get the network adapter to work) but it seems to be pretty responsive. I would say so far(after playing for 15-20 minutes) It is an improvement over vista, but how much I havnt played too much yet. Slaymate, is there a way to run a program from the host OS through the virtual OS or click/drag files? Some way for the two to "talk". Thanks Im fairly new to VirtualBox, I currently am runnin Vista with ubuntu, and win7 as my "play" OSes.

Virtual Box. I've never even heard of it til Richard said he was going to use it.
So far I've had nothing but trouble. My 1st piece of advise is Don't use Vista Drivers even if they seem to work.
You can update your Nvidia video drivers via Device Manager. Highlight your Display Adapter and right click on it. Choose update driver and Search Automatically. After it gets done and the system restarts you'll find you have the Nvidia Control Panel. But it doesn't support SLI yet.

Windows 7 Beta
Hey guys, I was just wondering whether anyone had been trying out the Windows 7 Beta and if so, what they thought of it? Is anyone thinking of trying it out?
Personally, I've been using the 64bit version for the past week and coming straight from Win XP I have to say its a pretty intuitive OS. Everything I've used has worked well so far, even downloading creative sound card drivers. The only funny thing is, and I don't know whether this is true of Vista, that it caches all of my unused RAM. I have 2gb RAM and don't know whether this is standard or is an indication that I could do with more memory.
Anywhoo, overall a surprisingly good Beta IMO. Lets hope they keep adding to it before it goes to the Release To Manufacturer stage.
My bad I had no idea Gamers Hell even had a software section!
