Rating: T System: PS2 Well, I myself am a big fan of war games. When I played the first Call Of Duty I really enjoyed it so I knew the second one would be just as good or even better. The game starts off with you on a dirt road with a few troops, all is well until the bombs start flying and you and your squad must make it to the basement. You're running, dirt is flying, smoke fills the air, much like the real thing. The graphics in this game are beautiful. The people look realistic, the weapons and vehicles look very well done and most of all the sceneary in the game is just incredbile. Alot of the things in the stage, for the setting is interactive. You hit a peice of metal it sounds like your hitting metal, you shoot at the dirt or sand it flys in the air. You shoot and hit someone in the chest you see the blood kinda squirt out a little, like a light mist, much like real life as well. One of my favirote things about this game would be when a bomb hits or a grenade is blown. The screen shakes, your vision gets fuzzy and even a slight ringing in the ear. Overall the graphics were done very well. The controls in the game are much like every other war game. L1 looks through your gun for a better shot, L2 for grenades, R1 to fire, R2 to do a gun bash, X to interact, so on and so forth. I personally like this style of control because it's alot easier to use and not diffucult to remember. The only real problem I had with the game was the AI system. Some of the times when they kick in a door to clear out a room they'll stand there with their back faced getting shot at and most of the times they wont fire until you do. Sometimes they just flat out get in your way of opening up some whoopass.I feel the AI system could of ben done alot better but sadly it hasn't. Overall, I give this game a 8/10. |
