Hi guys,

Just a quick review on Shot Online.
I have been playing this game for 4 or 5 months now and I gotta say I'm loving it.
To start with I was a bit Ummmm Ahhhh about joining on Online Golf MMO game but it's turning out pretty well..

Graphics
The graphics are pretty good for an Online Game. Although they don't compare to the likes of Guildwars. It makes a refreshing change to find a game of this type which incorporates realism into their character models. A little lacking in the special effects department but the courses are nice to look at and I guess that's what matters the most in the end.

Sound
As usual , the music is usualy turned off by most people. The sounds themself are OK but as you can guess, being a golf game, there aren't really many sounds you need other than impact of club to ball and ball to ground.

Game Play
For once, in an online golf game, there is a high degree of realism. The ball acts exactly as you expect it would in the wind / weather conditions and against the terrain. I would put the realism of Shot Online above that of TigerWoods PGA 06.

Support
The tech support is some of the best out there. Incorporating a direct Q&A with the GMs themself your questions get answered fast and efficiently. There are also regular GMs inside the game that police the world and kick abusive users etc.

Overall
Overall the game plays excellent. I'm enjoying every moment of it. You'd think it would get repetative but it actually doesn't. The determination to level up always remains and the tournaments for real cash are a nice touch. Above this , the game is 100% free to play unless you WANT to pay. I suggest people give it a try atleased.

but i just think its crap i'd much rather play mario golf on the gba :thumbup:
