Dungeon Siege Review
Dungeon Siege is an RPG fantasy game. You design your own character and then set him/her loose on the world. There is a slowly widening story line (although it is a bit predictable) which leads onto great battles with evil armies The gameplay is quite simple - it is basically point and click. There are several class types and schools of war eg. Ranged or combat magic. You are a humble farmer whose land has been taken over by evil armies. You have to roam all over the world, slowly discovering a larger plot behind the petty land war at home. There are loads of different items each with their own unique benefits, and as you advance through the game you can buy or find other adventurers, each skilled in a different class of fighting. There is a decent team formation system, and even a donkey which allows you to carry more items! Graphics are not bad for 2001. Sometimes in huge battles where you are fighting something like 20 or 30 enemies, if your computer is fairly slow the game will run very jaggedy. Sound is not bad at all. The background music updates for each different area, and the sounds are fairly realistic, although they can sometimes get a bit repetetive. Not much more to say about the sound. All in all, a very good game which has had me sitting at my computer for many a happy hour. P.S. This is my first review, so don't go too hard on me
