"Like all of the R6 titles, Vegas is a squad-based, 3rd-person...." Nah-ah, not on the PC they havent, never ever been 3rd-person. This isnt Lara Croft : Special Squad.

But then again, its the xbox360, who cares what they release on that, sucks anyway.

So what version are you bitching about? PC, 360, or both?

Ive got it for X360 and i must say that its a great game, 1st person most of the times, when you take cover and stuff it switches to 3rd person.

I dunno about the PC version, GRAW was more tactical for the PC though

The last real R6 game was Raven Shield but still best R6 game is Rough Spear. all those kiddie consol versions (and now also PC) are fun to play but lost all the things that made R6 great to beginn with.

I remember playing Raven Shield hours on end, didn't get into the game before that though. a few MP maps from RS are in Vegas.

Luckily I cant even play the Vegasmania cause I dont have SM3.0 on my gfx card.

If they did another Lockdown...Ubisoft = EA but Ubi is kinda worse since if you look at the CS crowd (or Valve hardware survey dudes) they alienated 60% of those potential customers (including me) with the SM3 ONLY thing.

I'm a big fan of Ghost Recon and Raven Shield, I would still play Raven but one of my CDs is bust, cant install it anymore.

they never even fixed RS. they just released a bunch of patches that fixed one problem and brought another one. Ghost Recon was da sexiest babe in town. it even still got a couple of hundrets of players

the co-op play with a friend is great on 360. and if you've got a big TV and 4 friends, you can actually go 4-player co-op through the story mode. that would be a ton of fun.

Havent played it on the 360 yet, but the PC version isn't too spectacular.

The PC incarnation feels like a mission pack for GRAW. The graphics are identical, the levels are identical and the engine is too demanding for what the user gets in return. Much like GRAW, this is not a Rainbow Six game from old, its not tactical and you dont rely on team-based strategy. Its a generic FPS with some stupid visual effects and monotonous gameplay.

EA are propegating their horrible ways into Ubisoft, this game will prove it!
