The Littlebig planet GH review score prediction topic

Time for something new to see if this catches on.

LBP will be reviewed soon by GH and I wonder what grade you think it will get. Serious attempts only please!

I am guessing a 98 out of 100, you guys? My motivation is that this game brings back the oldschool platform fun we had back in the day with classics like Super Mario Bros. Having an advanced editor is simply icing on the cake.

LBP is going to be huge!

EDIT: Far cry 2 (assuming it's getting a review) will be next if this topic is a succes

I played a first half hour yesterday, and I know already that it deserves at least a 95 out of 100.

• I nearly forgot that it was a game, during the jeep drive to the hotel my character would stay at.
• origianlity: it's about a civil war in Africa, not about the middle east, vietnam or ww2. Nuff said!

Well 98/100 seems fair to me. Take off 2% because it is going to be a bit buggy and the fact it has been delayed!

Ok, littlebigplanet is a platform game like they used to make back in the day when we old geezers started playing video games. Better graphics ofcourse and a sensational editor which allows you to recreate any game (to a certain extend) in LBP. The reason why I am so excited is because this game reminds me off the reason why I started playing games, having fun.

Also remind yourself that the little sackboy is a real sadist and continuesly kills his girlfriend by trowing off cliffs, into the fire, dropping big rocks on her and so on. This game is going to be the best one for ages. Especially since it's a original game in the land of generic FPS.


BTW Slay, watcha think of Farcry 2? Currently playing it myself and it looks great. Well optimised and gameplay seems fine to me. Aiming system is kinda meh...

As for FarCry2, I'll probably pick up a copy of it today or tomorrow. I don't buy game downloads anymore and I wanted to wait and see if there were any major bugs

I have the pc version, and did't see any bugs in the game, nor in the editor (which I tried an hour or so yesterday).

Console version of FarCry 2 got mad may bugs such as crashes, freezing and save errors. actually the save error isn't a problem with saving but loading. like the enviroment is changed and the people dunno anymore if they are hostile or not.

Yeah, have not played the console version, but it's supposed to be buggy as hell on both. 360 is by far the worst since that one does not get installed on a hdd and gives complete blank screens. Nonetheless, with all the bugs it doesn't matter that the PS3 version does not have that. Who misses a few drops of rain when it's pouring after all?

FPS belongs on pc anyway due to the simplicity of the mouse. Keyboards suck for gaming though, clunky pieces of crap.
