Seeing that everyone is really lazy around here, I'm reposting Nxs's review of Super Mario Sunshine (and it's because I'm nice, not because I have nothing better to do in my life.. Really!

Anyway, here comes:
REVIEW START
Nintendo yet again delivers another installent of Super Mario. This time in Super Mario Sunshine.
SMS has a slue of levels, hidden things, and wepons to keep you busy for a while. But the
question is, is it worth your money?
SMS is graphical eye candy, Mario has never looked so good, and that's how it is supposed to
be on a next gen console! Simple things like Marios reflection in a puddle of water you just
created, is just one of the simple things that make the game graphcally appealing. I personally
found the water effects to be outstanding. The water ripples and swells up as Mario swims about.
Plants and fish sway with the current as you dive to the bottom to collect your coins. Colorful
landscapes and monsters also add to the games appeal. The cut scenes are well done and
for the most part entertaining and fun to watch.
SMS' music is pretty much what you have come to expect from a Mario game. Quirky little
tunes that you find yourself whistling to as you play through various levels. I so think they
could have done the sound, at least for Mario, a little better. I swear he sounds like Mickey
Mouse! There is some familliar music in the game, when you go underground through the
pipes, I'm sure everyone will recognize the tune. Other than that, there is nothing really more
to the music and sound. Everything sounds as it should!
Now I suppose you are all wodering about how the game plays, and even if you're not, I'm
going to tell ya anyway! As the story goes, a coastal town is all dark and gloomy because
someone, who looks a lot like Mario, has stolen the towns shine sprites and mucked the
place up! You, as Mario, are found guilty of this shine crime. And you guessed it, your
punishment is to go around and clean the town up, and while you are at it recover the
shine sprites. Not too much to ask of a convited Mario. Mario is armed with a
mlti purpose water backpack thing, and it talks! The main nozzles on the thing is a
water gun type deal, which enable you to squrt bad guys, clean mud and grafitti, and
later in the game propell you around in the water. The second is like a rocket pack,
Mario jumps, click the squirt button and you are airborne for a few. Which comes in very
handy. When you first start after judgement, you will chase a water Mario around town
squirting him as you go. After squirting him a few times he will jump through an M on the
side of a building, Then you clean the M with your water and jump through. This is the
main way to goto different parts of the worlds. Once you jump through the magic M, you
are introduced to the level and it supplies you with a hint as to where the sprite is in
that stage, Everyone with me so far? Good! Lets continus shall we?
Once Mario starts the level, you will notice a few things. 1. There are residents you can
talk to. On occasion they give you hints. 2. Sprinkler things. These refill your waterpack.
Any pond, stream, or other body of water will do this also, however, you have to use the
pack in the body of water before it will refill. 3. The brown and white stuff they call mud.
I think it looks like a chocolate and vanillia mix myself, but I digress, the mud is bad, squirt it
with water to get rid of it. In SMS, you have the freedom to explore the world as you like,
however, certain things will not be open to you until you have gotten the shine sprite a first
time. Thus far I have been in one of the worlds seven different times! Not real sure how many
times youcan go back to the same one! But everytime there is something new you can do.
There are coins you collect, blue and gold, The gold ones give you back life or you can pay
a resident to throw you around. The blue ones let you buy shine sprites could be more
but I have'nt found anything else to buy as of yet. In the stage you followed the bad Mario
to your main job is to beat the mean chomping flower that has been spreading the mud.
Once you squirt him into submission you get your sprite. Sounds easy enough doesnt it?
Well as you progress the sprites goto increasingly harder plasces to get to!
This is the basic premise of the game. Now what would a new mario game be without new
moves? Well he has a few. The water pack can have different nozzles, of course you
have to dind them! There's the rocket nozzle which propels you up into the air, and
th speed nozzle which allows you to cruise land or sea with a quickness! It also
allows you to crash through doors. Mario is also quite the acrobat, as he has a
few diffeerent jumps. Theres your normal jump, then there's your extra jump, which is
pulled off by pressing the stick in an upward diaganal direction. Then we have the jumping
off the wall, this is espsecially helpful jumping between two close walls or structure. HInt hint!
What would Mario be without yoshi?? Well yoshi and some of his brothers are also in the game
and have moves of their own. Like eating enimies and squirting colored juice all over the place.
Another hint, yoshi juice is the only thing that will get rid of some yellow stuff you will find in
the worlds. Sooner or later yo will be shot off to the ammusement park level. One of my personall
favs! When you first arrive there, you chase the blue Mario, to the bac of the park where, during
a cut scene he transforms into a mean machine! This is the part thats fun, you get to ride the roller
coaster and shoot rockets at him! Woohoo! After you whack him with some rockets, to another
cut scene you go and in this one the bad mario reveals---
Thought I was going to give it away didnt ya! HA! You will have to play yourself.
No multiplayer is available so you get no review for that!

SMS is fun and appealing, there is enough fun and frustration to keep you playing for hours.
I do have a few greivances though. The sound could have been a bit better, especially for Mariom
and the camera angles on occasion made it a little dificult to play. My main complain is the fact
that if you lose a life while playing in a world, you do not get to start in that world. You have to go
back to the world you were in from the coastal town. What a pain. Over all, though, it is a fun game
and worth your money!
Yhought I'd add my 10 cents again
