James Bond: Nightfire

We got a review over irc today, from a guy called Crazy2. A more extensive review of the game should be done in not too long, but until then you can read his opinion, which I'm too lazy to spellcheck -Interman


well as u may know james bond in the cinema uses alot of gadgets he is giving by
his agency
its pretty much the same in the game u can use many gadgets such as poison pen
hacking palm pilot laser watch or wire phone
u can only curry 4 realistic weapons at a time and i think thats a good thing
its not so much of realistic play because
if u get shot u dont loose alot of health but its not easy as well for example on 1 mission
u cant use your weapons at all ..
in james bond night fire u play a agent working for the mi6 sent all around the world to stop
a terrorist named drake who is planing on attacking earth with icbm`s
in your journey of stopping him u will find your self sneaking to buildings stealing and even getting
to space !
as for SOUND
the game well .. its james bond sound ..so just watch the movie
and as for gfx
well the gfx is pretty much standart for this computer age its not bad but it
can be better
the game play is not complex and most times very clear
though some times u might be accouired to think
game play is a combination between a hard core shooter to hitman with out the complicity
over all the game is abit short .. but if u like james bond its worth your 40 bucks
lovers of james bond wont be disapointed..
as for hardwere
if u got p3 933 gf2 ultra with 256 mb ram game will run smooth on avg perforamce and 800*600 res
if u got better it will run better

I "aquired" this game about a week ago and I must say I'm very dissapointed. The graphics are good, but nothing like those seen in Nolf2 or Unreal 2k3, Hitman 2 even. The game is really ugly in general, from the menus, to the crappy cut scenes which are nothing more than videos with low quality. With the graphics maxed out, it looks.. "ok". Multiplayer.. ughh don't waste your time, it looks worse than Half-Life.. Bland textures, crappy HUD. Man I can't say enough how much this game sux. And it also runs bad, I've always maxed out the settings and gotten high performance out of my machine but this game just dosn't run well..

If you're thinkin, "oh well my machine is better so I'll have more fun" you're wrong. I'm runnin 512mb sdram, gf3 ti500, 7200rpm 120 gig hd pentium 3. This game sux and thats the bottom line. Rare needs to make the next one.
